well, as you can obviously see, things are a little different around here.

after a season of rethinking & designing, i’d like to re-introduce you to worshipVJ.com…. 2.0!

whenever i see a new software update on my Mac or iPhone, i like to read through the bullet points of what’s new. so here we go:

New Design: cleaner & simpler. Hopefully easier to navigate & find what you’re looking for.

Updated Pages: including new Story, Authors, & “Grateful Inconvenience”

Co-Authors & Contributors: Nate Griffin is now co-authoring the blog (more coming from him soon); Contributors will be frequent/somewhat-consistent bloggers who will offer various perspectives on the visual worship conversation.

Featured Posts: rediscover old posts covered over the past year…each time the home page refreshes, different posts will be featured.

Featured Sections: Resources (VJ tools, apps, content, links, etc), Events (calendar/schedule of worshipVJ events coming up), & Live Sessions.

Live Sessions: standalone site (live.worshipVJ.com) dedicated to hosting live streams @ selected events, archived video recordings of past sessions, keynote slides & notes in PDF formats.

Enjoy.

Thanks to Phil Moody at YouNeedaDesigner.com, who’s an amazing design/web/video/creative guy who interned with us at “GI” this fall. Thanks, “Phil-awesome”!

  4. Love the new look! Very clean, although I am a fan of the dark themes.

Looking forward to getting to know this community!

  5. A few minor things:
    - Consider using a commenting system like Disqus or IntenseDebate. New features for free, identity management, lots of good reasons to use it. People tend to comment more, too, I’ve found. Also, they don’t have to fill in their info each time.
    - The comment box is waaaay too small! 4 lines is all I can get. Double that height! =)
    - The type in general, all over, is too small to read. Screen res keeps going up, you could probably double the sizes (I know, there’s that again). Readability is king!
