i have always loved being involved in coordinating worship gatherings, particularly in exploring new & creative ways to use technology and visuals. i moved to Nashville in 2003 and began working in the music industry and traveling the road with various bands, as well as going to conferences and “VJ-ing” the worship sessions. In 2006, Nate Griffin & i founded gi*inc (grateful inconvenience), a design firm that focuses on live events, visual media & film, that brings creative vision and energy to clients in both the mainstream and Christian marketplaces. i love engaging others in conversation of leading worship using visual media, as well as striving for authenticity in the midst of excellence in the production of corporate worship. Most of my time is spent on the road producing & VJ-ing events for people like Travis CottrellBeth Moore , as well as Integrity’s Live events …and i also spend as much time as i can overseas.

Though my passion is for visual worship, technology and creativity, my heart beats for missional living….particularly in reaching indigenous tribes, stopping the human trafficking injustice, and bridging the gap between worship and justice.

Greg feels very awkward writing a bio.  It feels about as awkward referring to myself in the third person as writing about everything I have accomplished in my life.
For the past five years or so I have been heavily involved in live event production, usually providing visual support for events like PassionCatalystWillow Creek conferences , etc.  For the past three years I’ve also been the tour manager for Chris Tomlin .  This continues to take up about 25% of my work schedule during the non tour season, and ramps up to 150% of my time during a tour.
I work with an incredible team of guys at Renewed Vision .  Collectively our heart beats to see the church create incredible environments to connect people to God.  It so happens our gifts lie in technology, so we try to help people do that with technology.
In 2007 I married my soulmate, Natalie, and have learned that my most important job is loving and serving her as best I can.  Still figuring that one out.
