recently, i got connected to a guy named josh linman, who started his own social networking community called The Creative Worship Tour. i’ve been really impressed with it. i’ve always wanted to connect to an online community for the visual worship/VJ community. the worship*VJ facebook group is one of those places i created myself, but it was more of a nice after-though. i think CreativeWorshipTour.com is one of the best tools out there for this.

while in Dallas a few weeks back, camron ware & i linked up w/ josh via iChat. we got to know each other’s stories and had a refreshing conversation about visual worship. here’s an excerpt from our video chat.

the Creative Worship Tour is a network of worship planners discussing and imagining creative possibilities for worship. it’s a place for you to find ideas and support, and also a place for you to share your very best thoughts about creativity in worship.

Go Behind The Scenes
Get an inside look at how different churches around the country are doing creative and innovative worship. Learn from their experiences and be inspired by their ideas.

Get Equipped
Use their expanding video library and tour guide blog posts to learn how to apply what you find out in your own context.

Join The Conversation
Share your experiences and ideas on the site: upload videos, post pictures, and join conversations around creativity in worship.

check out my profile page on CWT, and if you end up joining, invite me to be your friend. and if you blog about creativity in worship at all, share your posts on CWT for others there to read.

  1. I love this site as well. Just stumbled upon it a few months back and have loved it ever since. It’s good learning resource as well.
