i’ve been hanging out in Dallas for a few days causing a lot of trouble. first, i VJ’d an event downtown and had a blast with the crew at Indelible Creative Group. Then i decided to stay over a few days and hang with Camron Ware. we’ve been doing lots of brainstorming and dreaming about what’s next in the world of visual worship & how we can help, and it’s included lots of mexican food and watching the documentary Helvetica.

Today, we went to a release party hosted by Igniter Media, where we were fed lots of Chic-fil-A and saw the premiere screening of their new videos from Igniter Videos Vol. 7. It was a blast to be in a room filled with other people involved in visual media at various churches and to see the latest, greatest cutting-edge media from Igniter.

i also got to meet some of the staff from RT Productions, the parent company of Igniter Media, WorshipHouse Media, Collide Magazine and the ECHO conference! people like Rob Thomas, Scott McClellan, Jeff Parker, Barton Damer & Kami Stroope…pioneers in the world of church media…and really friendly and down-to-earth folks with amazing stories.

check out their new videos from Volume 7!

ok, time for some more mexican food and more brainstorming on the whiteboard wall in Camron’s office.
