Just one week ago, nate griffin (producer/designer/VJ @ gi*inc ) embarked on a 16-city nationwide tour with Worship Together .

nate designed the entire visual experience using ProPresenter . his MacBook Pro is outputting to a Matrox DualHead2Go and utilizing the Advanced Module in Pro. There are two screens on stage, sometimes showing the same visual elements and sometimes showing images spanned across both screens.

check out this video shot during pre-production.

the WT LIVE tour isn’t just a concert, but each day consists of breakout sessions geared towards worship leaders, songwriters, and yes, even media/tech teams. each day, nate is teaching a class called "The Visual Worshiper". Much like the ECHO breakouts that i previously blogged about , this breakout description is as follows:

"Most of today’s corporate worship gatherings require some level of production, but most of the time there is tension in finding the balance in using media as an art-form that truly enhances the worship. We’ve all been taught "what to do", but today, come learn HOW to do it & more importantly, WHY. We’re not going to train you to become a better "space bar monkey"; instead, we’ll teach & equip you to artistically & tastefully approach visual media in a way that transforms you into a Visual Worshiper that will lead your congregation in ways you’ve never imagined."

check out the Worship Together website to see if the tour is coming to a city near you.

here are some pics from the tour.
